As a Christian author, how would you describe your writing?
My writing focuses on clean, heartfelt stories across romance, young adult, suspense, and women’s fiction. I craft characters and plots that explore real-life struggles, faith, love, and redemption while maintaining an uplifting tone.
What’s the motivation behind your writing and what makes King David different from your other books?
I’m motivated by the power of storytelling to inspire, encourage, and uplift others. Writing allows me to explore meaningful themes, share important messages, and connect with readers who are looking for hope and inspiration. King David dives deep into the complexities of fame, power, and temptation within the modern music industry. It’s a fresh take on a biblical story, blending timeless themes of ambition, love, and redemption in a contemporary setting.
Did you have a specific goal in mind when writing King David?
My goal was to weave a compelling narrative that highlights the challenges of rising to fame while staying true to one’s values. The story explores themes of temptation, betrayal, and redemption, encouraging readers to reflect on their own journey toward grace.
Which King David character do you relate to most and what type of reader would enjoy your novel?
David Winters, the protagonist. His internal struggle with temptation and seeking redemption mirrors many of the struggles we all face in our walk of faith. Readers who appreciate stories about personal growth, the consequences of choices, and the pursuit of redemption will find themselves immersed in this modern retelling of a timeless tale.
